Composers Note: The poems of E. E. Cummings sing of joy, despair, death, lust, hate, love, the sacred and the profane; in short ­ life! It was very satisfying to set Cumming's poetry to music. It is a privilege to share this music with you.

The tapes used to make this master recording, laid dormant at "Morning Air," the Sutton Ranch in Bailey, Colorado. Sunnie found them during spring house-cleaning and decided it was time to publish.
